An art piece based off of Gustav Klimt’s piece The Kiss, where a man is embracing a woman by cradling her face with his hands and kissing her cheek, except the drawing is of Odo and Kira from DS9. It is a cacophony of colours and shapes, coming from the bottom there’s planets and stars that form into circles at Odo’s base that settle into squares on his torso. Kira’s jacket has patterned diamonds inside of them. There are tiny blue flowers dotting their faces and gently falling down onto the sky. They are surrounded by a soft dark blue and purple space with many stars and comets.

I created this illustration in 2018 for an illustrated edition of Beowulf. 'Heorot' — graphite, copper leaf, gold leaf, silver leaf, and hydrangea petals on paper.

A dimly lit, symbolist-style painting titled The Love of Bastet, created in oil on paper in 2022. The scene shows a small, illuminated temple-like structure at the edge of dark, dreamlike cliffs. A red sail, reminiscent of a funeral barque, rises diagonally into the shadows, hinting at an unseen vessel. A figure cloaked in black sits in the doorway beneath hanging wisteria, evoking mourning or devotion. The wall of the temple is carved with Egyptian-inspired reliefs. In the distance, a spectral mountain shaped like a feline head emerges from a turbulent, clouded sky. The piece is a tribute to The Tomb of Böcklin by Ferdinand Keller and was created as part of the American Gods project.
