What makes it worse is that we’re about to enter the slow season in my field, so there’s little time to find work.

Now I sit here feeling like that robot is brokenand trying to figure out what I can do. I want to return

Then, two weeks ago on a Thursday, I was brought into a meeting. I was told my job was no longer available they were eliminating it altogether because they didn’t see a need for it. In that moment, everything I had built was gone, swallowed by a larger entity.

I kept pushing on, but then the double vision began—especially when I tried to make pixel art. It got harder and harder.

Right now, my eyesight has been the most affected. Doctors think it might be due to the stress I’ve been under. I have constant brightness sensitivity and floaters in my left eye, and reading white text is almost painful.

What was promised as a 40 hr position quickly became 60 while on call, and my health began to decline.

I was starting to give up until a company noticed that I had created a lot of useful resources and tools to help organize and support events. I brought everything I had built over: all my contacts, all my tools.

But slowly, it became harder and harder to run it. People don’t want to pay for the services of others, which makes it even harder to find the right people.

My passion has always been finding the most talented people who work well with one another.

Over time, the home base I worked at was taken over by a malicious entity, which forced me to leave. I had already formed my own company, anticipating that something like this might happen.
