I call these Countdown colours now I think of the show when I see them. Well done on the subliminal stuff. It works. How important is colour in your story telling & why this pallet?

Nice eclectic list. My top 5 would be

Rear Window
His Girl Friday
Blue Velvet
Sweet Bird of Youth
The Holy Mountain

Plus loads more. I’ve watched every David Lynch film at least 10 times. Some directors create worlds I love to revel in over & over again.

Not a rabbit hole I anticipated going down. His house looks like it was designed by David Lynch.

David literally took us inside the explosion. To the centre of it. Far superior. I miss his spirit so much. It still hurts even now. πŸ’”β€οΈβ€πŸ©Ή

Fabulists. What would we do without them. They make the world a more interesting place. Sometimes I prefer mythology over fact.

Thank you for writing an antagonist I could empathise with & see as a person not just blind rage without a soul. Volchek is a fascinating character. It makes the final confrontation mean more & with way more emotional investment. It was well worth it Officer Drew. 😎🫑

In my opinion the darkest piece of television to ever air. The murder of Madeline Ferguson ( nice Hitchcock reference). It’s not the punches or any of that. It’s how Bob taunts & stalks his victim around the room. His enjoyment of it. The sound & slo mo. Terrifying.

There goes another band to add to the list. BTW their cover of Bowies I’m Afraid of Americans is on of the best covers I’ve heard in a long time , that I need to hear live.

How would you describe the experience? Their sound is quite complex did they manage to pull it off live ?

I’m very impressed with the music. Your use of Tool was perfection. Bones UK have been a groovy new find for me. I’d never heard them before. Live would be a dream. Thank you for the introduction. Were they your choice ?

I have particular affection for his conversation with David Lynch on mortality & his role in the universe. Two men who preferred the work to do the talking & not overpower it with noise but let it breathe in silence. Unique faces like his are becoming a rare commodity. Stories etched in skin.

This scene evoked old Hollywood. It was exciting to see glamour disrupt the gritty action. With beautiful costuming like that they’re halfway there. They must of had so much fun hamming it up in Tuxedos.
