We need to focus on homes as a place to live, not a wealth foundation. Homes are disposable in the first place and once you pay attention to how homes are made and realize that, you realize that all that matters is a place to live. A home should not be more than a 10th of your income.

Using home ownership to build wealth is a shit idea in the first place and a big reason as to how we got here.

And we don't talk even NEARLY enough about how American homes are not even made to last beyond 30 years, Malvina Reynolds called them "made of ticky tacky" and she was right.

Watching a documentary about those "ambassador animals" you saw Jared Miller and Jack Hanna bring on Good Morning America and Late Night shows.
