The crazy thing about Danielle Sassoon’s resignation is that she’s probably generally on the GOP’s side. She is in the Federalist Society (a conservative organization) and clerked for Justice Scalia.

When PEOPLE ON YOUR OWN SIDE are speaking out, there’s a huge problem.

But I don’t believe it’s up to women to help men through their loneliness epidemic.

Men: it’s time for you to take up the charge and help your bros. We women are tired.

I wish instead of alpha male bullshit and “lone wolf” narratives, we would see more podcast bros trying to teach other men how to build community.

There are some good guys speaking out, but they so often get drowned out by the Andrew Tates.

Add the extra layer of women being financially independent sans men, therefore not needing to marry for financial security, and men really get pissed off.

So it’s only when women stop providing that labor that men notice and start pointing fingers. Instead of taking up community-building initiates themselves, they blame feminism, woke culture, etc.

Sure, men have golf buddies and country club memberships, but so often their community revolves around work and networking.

It’s invisible labor that men don’t value until it disappears. Women for so long have been the liaisons between men and other men, that men don’t know how to build community for themselves.

Women, while not often actually being the people in leadership, have always been the ones building community.

Who is throwing dinner parties? Who organizes the work potluck for Frank’s birthday? Who puts together the funeral dinners at church?

Always women.

Of course men blame the “male loneliness epidemic” on women.
