Our Minister intern Dr Laura McGuire gave a fantastic sermon on Sunday on the topic of “Joy as a form of resistance”. It was relevant and filled me with hope. I’m turning my attention away from the orange king show and focusing on MLK’s life and work towards peace and justice for all! 🇺🇸💙

Dr. King spread a message of justice and persisted in the face of hatred.
 
His legacy calls us to serve each other and to continue striving towards a more inclusive and united Minnesota.

I still can't believe that man is getting inaugurated into the highest office in our country on MLK Day. What a horrible symbol of how far we've strayed from Dr. King's vision and hope for America.

I know we're all tired, but we have to fight back to protect our communities. We can do this. 🖤
