I ended up wording this poorly due to the char limit & the initial thought I had (humans are biased).

It was to say: They are reframing what were considered "bugs" in existing models in what appears to be an attempt to better market "character" AI, so they can justify replacing artists w/ bad code.

They're going to try to replace humans in art with shittier versions of Miku that will injure or kill in the pursuit of self preservation. Neat! /s

I want to point out, this seems like it's already happening with LLMs & the like.

Humans, being implicitly biased & incapable of true neutrality or objectivity, will always produce biased and subjective creations. It seems like marketing lingo saying they're no longer striving for the impossible.
