One thing they don't tell you about perimenopause is that you get zits in places you didn't even get when you were a teenager.

I mean they don't tell you anything about perimenopause. Every day is a grab bag of bodily function nightmares.

A dev editing client who I'm still in contact with reached out to tell me her experience with a copyeditor. This man changed some words, then fixed the changes he made, then mansplained why "she" was wrong.

It wasn't an isolated incident, either.

I. Was. Flabbergasted.

A friend asked me how I was feeling today. This is how I'm feeling.

I started listening to this book today. It's everything and nothing I expected. 🌶️📚

I think I've been at UC for 6 hours. Just waiting to be discharged. The wait times are bananas but the people have been lovely.

Had a dizzy spell, fell, and hit my head on the wall behind me. Likely not a seizure but I don't mess with head injuries anymore. Now I'm at urgent care with half of Airdrie and N Calgary. Tell me again why we're cutting health funding?

I was all set to move back to Ontario when Ford got voted in the first time. I figured at the time we at least had the NDP a little longer. And then the UCP got in here and it's been an escalator to hell. But where else is there to go??

I agree. I think we are in a world of hurt. I'm in Alberta and it's been rough and will continue to be. I worry how much worse if PP were to get elected.

I'm hoping what we see in the states will be enough for Canadians to stop that from happening.

I had a "huh?" moment when I saw the erotica label. I was sure none of the books I had read could be classified as erotica.

When I checked the title I rolled my eyes. It wasn't erotica. It was a 1 ⭐ read (being generous) full of biphobia.

By and large, the rest of the books were decent, though.
