The Dallas City Council did the right thing rejecting Bill Roth’s nominee to the Ethics Commission. Natalie LeVeck may be a lawyer, but she’s tied at the hip to her husband’s radical (and homophobic) smear campaigns and political attacks.

Without probable cause or reasonable suspicion, ICE and Border Patrol cannot just go into parks, Home Depots, and other public spaces just to round up Brown people.

That is flat out illegal.

This May we’re having elections for the Dallas City Council. We should question and support candidates who pledge to support and ordinance stopping algorithms from driving up rents and giving people a fair chance at affordable housing.

This leads to a cycle of rising rents faster than wages can keep up. Dallas banning algorithmic rent-setting would slow these automated price hikes. By limiting automated rent increases, rents would be more stable and affordable for tenants.
