I've been to Portland a few dozen times (truck driver), and its a fun, clean, friendly city. The people are very nice. Went west of Portland to Hillsboro to a tree farm. Their conveyor broke down. Farmer took me to his house for dinner. Afterwards, apologized for the delay. Extremely hospitable.
