Despite being recognised as a native component of the grassy plain woodlands flora, sites such as Inverleigh FFR (a in my photo figure) are dealing with encroachment and the formation of a. paradoxa monocultures. Seems pretty sus for a native species!

Acacia paradoxa has a broad SE Australian distribution, occurs across starkly different habitats, and has remarkably variable morphology. Here is a photo snapshot of some of the diversity captured during my honours field work.
