Taking a break from phone scribbles for a bit. Just feel slightly burned out from lewd doodles atm and want to post some life stuff. I think after a while of solely scribbling lewd poses, I get worried that I’m perceived as a perv when in reality I’m brainlessly doodling poses.

Hitting the point of the drawing where I doubt every decision made.

Met Museum photo of an Ancient Egyptian artist’s painting of a swallow on a flake of limestone, dated to the New Kingdom, Dynasty 18, joint reign of Hatshepsut and Thutmose III, c. 1479-1458 BC. The sparrow stands in profile with head to the right. It is delicately painted with a pinkish body. The outline and details are highlighted in a reddish/brown pigment. It’s legs, eye, and beak are painted black. Limestone flake dimensions H. 6.6 cm x W. 10.6 cm. This may have been a practice drawing of the sparrow hieroglyph which was used for words meaning ‘small’, ‘poor’, or ‘bad’. Egyptian artisans who decorated tombs and temples made practice sketches on flakes of limestone which are known by egyptologists as ostraca (singular: ostracon). Sometimes the drawings were used as a template when transferring an image to the wall of a tomb or a temple. Limestone flakes were readily available for this purpose as by-products of the construction of temples and rock-cut tombs. A number of ostraca were recovered at Deir el-Bahri during the 1922-23 MMA excavations.

Man, I feel like a lot of newer games featuring canids just sorta feels all the same. Everything’s too customizey. Being limited in what I can do and learning to love a character is what makes games fun because you know the story is gonna be strong.

A Stripe rep hung up on me when they realized they told me they're disallowing "LGBTQ content" in transactions, so either they're slipping up more or just being more honest about their real intentions.

Keep the pressure up, keep calling, maybe start recording what they're telling you.

Today just might not be a good art day for me, after several attempts with a background and my brain just being out of it, I finally decided to just tell myself: “Hey, pick up the pen after the weekend, you don’t do your best when you aren’t feeling your best. Let your brain rest!”

I think Visa and Mastercard may be getting a lot of calls about their adult content policies, but I just called in to PayPal and not only was there no wait, the customer service rep I got had never had one of these calls before (they were very nice about it.)
