Okay so:
- A Vox and Lucifer song??? Holy fuck, what a combo
- Episode 5 is so definitely gonna be Vox reaching the pinnacle of his power. Three Vox songs in one episode is crazy
- Love In A Bottle has the most bizarre combo of characters yet and I'm here for it

It seems like the show is building to a point where it's going to beat her over the head with a lesson of why that mindset is a bad idea.

It'll be fun to see what she goes through and how she tries to compensate for it

It's such a natural trait for her to have too, considering she's literally the daughter of the sin of pride. She gets so hyperfocused on the possible benefits of her plans, that she never slows down enough to think about the possible negative outcomes.

Episode 3 obviously doesn't stand out as much as episode 4, but I do love that it doubles down on Charlie's biggest weakness: her inability to fucking listen to anyone once she gets an idea or feels the need to do something.

Vaggie has especially been a victim of it. Curious to see where that goes

There's clearly something interesting going on with the way he forms relationships with people too. There's a complete refusal to even entertain the idea of embracing any connections. Instead, he almost goes out of his way to antagonise people.

I'm more fascinated by his story than ever before now

Alastor has always been the most interesting character to me, but man, episode 4 really elevates him more than I would have thought.

For someone who craves power so much, it's fascinating how quickly he's willing to throw himself into situations where he's a victim or sacrifices his freedom

Two things:
- The concept of Cherri and Pentious' first song together being called "Piss" lmao
- Alastor having two versions of Don't You Forget—one with Vox and the other with Rosie—is so deeply intriguing. I can't wait to find out what the fuck is going on

Seriously, Pentious' voice is far stronger than it has any right to be and the way it builds up scratches my brain too well.

It will not leave my mind

Go woke, go... massively successful, apparently. Gee, who would have guessed?

If I had to rank the songs so far (which is difficult because they've all been excellent), it'd probably be:
- Once We Get Up There
- Sera's Confession
- Hazbin Guarantee (Trust Us)
- Gravity
- Like You

But Pentious' section of Like You is easily my biggest earworm atm

Hazbin S2 has felt like a really interesting step up so far. Obviously the animation is much better, but the real improvement is the pacing. So much more time being spent on slowing down, leaning into emotional aspects, and taking the characters and their traumas seriously. It's so effective

The first time we get a full solo song from Alastor and of course it's incredibly fun.

The promotion for S2 this past month has been some truly great stuff

The continuing petty and chaotic dynamic between Lucifer and Alastor raises my excitement for this season way too much

I don't know what in the flaming fuck got put in the Morningstar genetics to make them hot and goofy as fuck at the same time but I thoroughly support it

As soon as the pendulum swings in the other direction, Miller is the first one who needs to be investigated.

The psychotic shit he comfortably says in public crosses basically every line. Not to mention the level of influence he wields within the administration

Few thoughts:
- Song goes immensely hard. I love Lute's voice
- Never gonna stop praising the increased animation quality
- Really glad they're taking that lost love angle. It makes Adam and Lute's dynamic far more interesting and gives Lute more potential
- Lute makes mental breakdowns look hot

Looking forward to listening to this one like 30 times a day (probably not even an exaggeration lmfao)

The new Hazbin song is perfectly designed for me to be addicted to it (as all Hazbin songs tend to be).

Charlie's voice is obviously heavenly but it's also great how, any time the Vees get a section in a song, it always kicks ass

Never has the difference between Britain and America been more strongly defined than by the fact that these two speeches were going on at around about the same time

- A memorandum cracking down on "political violence" (conveniently all from the left)
