Despite absolutely falling in love with Ultraman Arc whilst it was airing, its movie - The Clash of Light and Evil, left me feeling a bit cold. Despite having its moments, this didn't really feel like much that couldn't have happened in the show itself...

S.H. Figuarts Shinkocchou Seihou Kamen Rider 1 (Sakurajima Ver) was a holy grail of mine, and one I really didn't think I'd get without shelling out for. Thankfully Bandai came through with a new Legendary Showa Masked Riders Edition that's even better!

I had planned to finish off Ultraman Taro this month but that never materialised. In the meantime I started watching Tojima Wants to be a Kamen Rider though, and am having an absolute blast with it. A love letter to Showa era Rider with a killer soundtrack.

S.H. Figuarts Shinkocchou Seihou Figuarts Wingman was one my most anticipated figures of the year - not just because the series was fantastic, but because getting a Seihou release was a pretty surprising move by Bandai.

They did not disappoint. Wow.

Hero Action Figure Zone Fighter (Ver 2) was a very pleasant surprise! I love this character, but HAF is a line with a LOT of issues. This wasn't perfect, but a significant improvement over previous releases.
