They kinda are,but I'm pretty sure the bonus from the skins is only calculated after the game is over to add to the leaderboard score. I was able to get more rings with a free skin then someone with one of the expensive skins so I think it was just a skill issue on the reviewers part

I'm pretty sure they just affect the leaderboard scores not the actual in game scores,but I ain't gonna defend 45-60$ skins
