Nothing new is coming into the cultural zeitgeist. When was the last time something was an actual phenomenon? Season one of Stranger Things? You could make the argument for K-Pop demon hunters, but even that hasn't hit the level of hype that things used to get.

The thing that bothers me about the new Harry Potter show (aside from the anti-Trans stuff, which is definitely the worst problem) is that this is another reboot of an old franchise. We've seen this with Ghostbusters, Transformers, TMNT etc. To mixed results.
