Riding high of mention of Soulwax on Tuesday, I was elated to hear a reference to my formative band, the one that got me into music proper, REM... only to be disappointed that Jason managed to get so many facts wrong and misrepresent the timeline to throw undue shade. Great day out in London. Saw the penultimate stage performance of the Tempest starring the legendary Sigourney Weaver and the incredible Mason Park Alexander. Took this photo on the way back to the station, just after we passed within feet of John Elledge. So star-struck!

I saw this video on VH1 in the UK at the time of release and it literally changed my taste in music, and made me a life-long R.E.M. fan.

I mean, the whole format is based on the tabletop game "Werewolf", which I believe already has a Seer role. I predict the whole thing will be more like "Ultimate Werewolf" within a few years and everyone will have a custom role. Surprised the US version didn't go straight there.

I think Rye stole all the quaint beauty and sense of serene joy from the rest of 1066 County, although every shop in Battle being called "Battle..." (Jewelers, Computers, etc) is quite delightful.
