It’s not only London. Cardiff v Rest of Wales is also a long standing thing over the years. My historian Dad found evidence of it in Victorian newspapers. As a Cardiffian working in other parts of wales I’ve seen it too. It’s also prevalent in the sad debacle of the regions v WRU at the moment…

Peter Ross and the Senghenydd Colliery Disaster

Today, 14 October, is the anniversary of the Senghenydd Colliery Disaster. Amongst the 440 men and boys who died in this terrible tragedy was Peter Ross, who had only recently joined Cardiff rugby club. A gifted player of great promise, an article by my Dad:

Concur. Was France’s to lose. They had majority of possession and felt like they were looking to play more. And to add to that their set piece often looked a bit shaky. Must be very frustrating for France!
