brushing is a finishing step in leading, where the completed window is literally brushed to bring out the luster and darken the finish of came. The brushing becomes meditative, and is one of my favorite steps in the process. Chemical patination is only used on the zinc framing.

sometimes I get to make extra special windows for extra rad folks, like this Luna moth to hang in the peak of a greenhouse Amanda and her husband were building.
