The church is a system which you choose to pay into, you are not forced, so I would use my energy to change the system I can vote for rather than change the church, I definitely agree that the church itself it’s the very definition of hypocrisy that often does the opposite of what it preach

Agreed, it jumps at you as soon as you visit the Vatican with their golden door handles and invaluable art, worth enough to solve the poverty problem of many in the world. Thing is, the responsibility of the welfare of the people falls to the country to which they pay taxes to because they have to..

In Europe we have « free » healthcare so the 88 year old pope is getting the care that any other 88 yo with the same problems would get, albeit in a nicer room.. I’m an atheist and don’t like the church but yours is a bit of a bad take, sorry..
