I've never been able to entirely reconcile my politics with the undeniable fact that most of my neighbours would be happy to see me dead rather than inconvenience themselves for even a moment.

Years of screenwriting/playwriting have given me a solid ear for dialogue. I’m excellent at maintaining character arcs and building on plot over a long time coherently. I take big swings - they might not work, but I take them. And I have a very strong narrative voice in prose.
