As we reach the end of the year, I wanna thank @aviators.bsky.social and @lanvoine.bsky.social for trusting me with mastering their music this year. Its always a lot of fun and I look forward to working on even more projects next year, hopefully with some more artists too!

I think LANDR is the main one people are heading towards now. I’ve messed with the Izotope assistants before and even today I find them terrible. But LANDR lets you do unlimited masters for like £150 a year. Whilst I know I master far better. Competing with that pricing is hard.

I know it’s not quite the same, but as a mastering engineer, it’s incredibly discouraging to see just how hard AI mastering is being pushed by so many companies. It’s also getting increasingly harder to know where to price myself too because of it.
