Not nearly as stupid or racist as those in Florida!

Think libertarian instead of conservatives or progressive, particularly outside of the southern coast. Having people from away telling Mainers they should or shouldn’t support someone will likely result in the opposite happening.

The comments on this post are why Dems will consistently loose with circular firing squads.

Supporting democracy means anyone should be able to run and the voters should decide. Tattoo, voting record, donors, platform, age will all be in play. “From away” hatred will drive support towards him.

Just drove 5 hours round trip between mid coast Maine and Downeast going two different routes. As a simple observation, hundreds of Platner lawn signs. Not a single sign for any other candidate. Mills campaign may not be organized yet so we’ll see how that changes in the coming months.

We’re on the same side. I’m just exhausted by misinformation all around. By all means, if you have goods to back it up, report it. Be well.

I’m struggling with awful attempts at journalism if anything. Back it up with facts if you have them, otherwise you are just another hack passing on disinformation at best.

Here’s one. He’s too old and disconnected from the needs of his constituents.

Hopefully prison justice will be served on him.

If struck down, refunds will not benefit the consumers who ultimately paid much of them. They will go back to the companies that raised prices giving away more to corporations on the backs of taxpayers.

On a purely emotional basis, he wasn’t perceived well by most on either side. Not sure how much that plays into the grand jury decision.

I agree political violence is unacceptable, but what you're saying here is just not true.

These are calls for mass political violence, against all Democrats. They openly call for the bombing of "Democrat" cities and for the jailing or killing of Democratic politicians. They are from some of the most influential voices in right-wing politics. Will anyone say anything?

Amazing how those democratic lawmakers who were hunted down in their homes in the middle of the night in Minnesota weren’t a watershed moment of political violence, huh?

Condem gun violence in America, offer thoughts to families, pray to your gods of inaction, but realize the violence and killings are only going to escalate in this climate stoked by corruption, misinformation and injustice. I mourn for the country but not for those who have blood on their hands.
