Charles finished reading both @briankeene.bsky.social The Complex and @marysangiovanni.bsky.social Hallower Book 1. He loved them both for different reasons! He thought Mary nailed the atmosphere and Brian wrote some pretty deep characters. Gonna have to make a Vortex run to buy some more for him!

I read your Facebook post and when I saw him last week he was in good spirits too. I talked about your bookshop and he was joking and being typical Bill. It's absolutely shocking. You're right with it being unreal. I'm at a loss for words.

I am so shocked and devastated! I just saw him a few days ago and we were just talking about him last week at your bookstore.

He was a real pillar in the community and one hell of a guy. Always honest. I actually got to be a fan of yours because of his creator bbqs at the connection.

Oh man! This would be perfect to own but I agree about that bid too!

I also finally finished The Sopranos! That last season was amazing! Some of the best episodes. Now I gotta do my top ten! I also can never look at @briankeene.bsky.social without thinking of him as the Tony Soprano of the author world.

My only advice is coffee. These first few weeks of January have been brutal for sure!

I finally dipped my toes in the Clickers-verse and finished @kozeniewski.bsky.social Clickers Never Die novel! It was wild and I loved the setting!

Is this your first time with paxlovid? When we got nailed in January with Covid I was on it. After two days I tested negative but then got a mild rebound a week later. Hang in there my friend. My wife and youngest had this variant and it was in and out fast.

9 years ago, the best friend I ever had died. I've made sure readers will still discuss his works 90 years from now. That's the only kind of provable immortality a writer can have. But I personally believe consciousness and energy transcend, and that I will see him again. www.jfgonzalez.org/store

I only had the pleasure of knowing him a few years before he passed, but he was an exceptional writer and one hell of a person. I loved his sense of humor and Primitive is still one of my fave horror stories of all time.
