A camera encourages you to get out and exercise it’s a nice way to become active again instead of going too hard-core too early plus there is the benefit of making art.

@joegarrity.bsky.social hello I’ve just changed from a Fujifilm XT5 that had a kit lens a macro lens a wide angle lens and a third one that I can’t even remember because I never used it to a Canon R5 Mk2 I’ve only had it for a couple of days and today after breakfast I have to program the menus

The nib of my new fountainpen almost dug into the paper and got stuck. I wont be able to do any calligraphy or sketching with this. It cost $68 AUD. Not sure its even worth taking in to a pen doctor. Right now I want to throw it in the trash but I havent. Worst ink flow of the 12 pens I have. Bleh

Here is the #fountainpen the nib is very scratchy indeed almost feels like it’s cutting into the paper but it’s not the ink doesn’t flow evenly and it looks like it’s an extra fine. It does flex to make slightly thicker lies but it certainly doesn’t work as well as the video. A bit disappointed.

My new Jinhao #fountainpen with the c-flex nib arrived today 2 days early delivered to my doorstep. Thanks to the courier, seller, airports everywhere and customs for working together to get it to me 2 days early. Photo and comments to come sometime within 24 hours

The fountain pen never leaves my hand unless I fall asleep or eat meal, if Im not writing then Ill still play with it or have it in my pocket.

I write in a diary daily everything....things I see that I want to buy or know more about, poetry, short stories, art projects, books Ive read, photography notes, work Im doing in my recording studio. This is all from me to me. Not anyone else.

Yes Ive never been to this shop. Im not allowed to buy a new pen though because Ive got a solid looking Jinhao with a great flexible nib arriving in the mail soon.
HOWEVER I am allowed to buy books

Rather boring but Im bout to start some art experimentation today. May go into the city for lunch. I want to check out the fountain penshop and see if I can get a EF nib for my Waterman pen to replace the M.
