The system relies on curated blocklists, including uBlockOrigin’s Huge AI Blocklist, to detect and suppress AI-generated imagery. While not perfect, it significantly reduces synthetic content visibility. Academic-speak is hot on social media, and this ad is an easy target for influencers who go viral with sharp cultural critiques. It's a weird ad! There IS a double meaning.

But the rightwing media machine has gotten very skilled at reframing that kind of discourse to galvanize cultural grievance.

the right wing media ecosystem is so efficiently set up to take random posts from non public figures and turn them into pseudoevents. to the point where the entire social media system rn really just favors their viral propaganda machine.

This is a GREAT example of this longstanding Trump phenomenon: Reporters, pundits, people all contort to fill in the blanks to make Trump's meaning more normal/sane/human than it actually is, instead of taking him at his literal word, even when it's bonkers or antisocial.
