As a man, I’m logically external to feminism & have no final opinion on what ‘real feminism’ should be, of course, as it’s a women’s movement (altho some do even cede that to men). I think men should focus on DOING anti-misogyny & not SAYING or claiming to BE something. They're very different verbs.

The kinds of ‘feminism’ such men claim to be exponents of are the ones that offer them the least challenge, which centre their egos and chime with the subordination of women. Yes, some women may use the word ‘feminism’ to describe such patriarchal mutations, more’s the pity.

Men who publicly claim to be 'feminists' are often at least as misogynistic / abusive as the men who publicly say that they hate feminism.
