Wow Kate. Just read the Wikipedia entry, which exactly captures some of the issues we are facing, especially ethical conflicts with carers and palliative care professionals. If you don’t mind me asking, how did you come to this?

She is still with us and conscious, having emerged from the coma and has some understanding of her situation and recognition of loved ones. The medical view is that she is at end of life, but I’m no longer so sure. Thanks for asking. Terminal lucidity as a thing is new to me - I’m fascinating
