6. Scheiss auf Grimdark: als das „gute Ende“ dann in 2 Sätzen im Epilog doch wieder zunichte gemacht wurde, war ich echt Sauer. Es sind so Nuancen wo ich denke dass WOD super für Hopepunk wäre, wenn sie mit diesem „kein Happy End für dich“ Scheiss mal aufhören würden.

4. Opfer zu Tätern: der Fluch und Co. Sind eigentlich nur der Druck auf dem Kessel der Abwärtsspirale. Der Horror ist menschlichen Ursprungs, entsteht aus Ängsten und animalischen Reaktionen in Extremsituationen. Das machts so persönlich, aber evtl auch frustrierend weil zu pessimistisch/grimdark.

3. Ewige Rezession: Es gibt keine freien Ressourcen und die zu optimieren macht immer unmenschlicher. Selbst die höchsten Ziele (Ernährungsproblem lösen) führt zu moralisch völlig ausgehöhlten Leuten (Massenhaltung inkl. eiskaltem „Drogenmanagement“)- das im Spiel völlig normal ist.

2. Tragische Ambition: Gleichzeitig neigt das Spiel dazu Egoisten zu spielen, die am Ende nur das durchdrücken was ihnen am wichtigsten ist- um jeden Preis und meist nur temporär. Galeb will die Institution der Camarilla schützen und wird bei der nächsten Machtübernahme zur Sicherheit umgenietet.

1. Überleben um jeden Preis: Jeder macht soviel Scheisse mit, dass man irgendwann abstumpft. Man ist auch oft so hilflos den Strukturen ausgeliefert, dass jeder sich der Nächste ist.

This time on #fantasybasel I was completely overwhelmed by the constant noise and overstimulation. @lrcp.bsky.social got me to the community hall and Sketch Club Basel, which was a great idea, where you could just draw with everything that was there. it was so calm- I hope they are back next year!
