used to listen to NPR all the time. Donated to the station and to shows. I just can't listen to them anymore. There may be a few journalists on there who still have a soul, but the station overall is helping fascism take over by pretending everything is still normal.

I just got off the phone with a Republican colleague. She is literally oblivious to the horrors that are happening right now. Her primary concern is still getting a "good" budget that has no debt or deficit. I don't know what to do with this information.

If someone is shady in business dealings with the government, they'll probably also be shady in a divorce. Before you jump into a marriage with this person: (1) Are you sure? (2) prenup??? (3) Do you really need to mix finances?? Don't forget marriage is a business enterprise too.
