But resolution wise sure nebula sucks but the kicker is the damn stars. A 6x2k nebula resolution is good, we need like 6*4k for stars to be good lol. I have ways around it, it's just, really inconvenient.

Completely agree -- however the biggest issue I have with skyboxes is the limitations with the 24 bit color.

If I could double the resolution of the skyboxes I would but banding and whatnot is such an issue.

Got better at compositing skyboxes. First 2 = new, last = old.

No more color banding and obvious dithering, and the nebulae properly occlude the far stars.

This is in Roblox but there's some HDR issues with my monitor on Linux so it's not perfect yet lol

I've come up with a smart way to handle physics in Omegaspace. The issue is I virtualized everything so the server doesn't replicate physics to client. It's complicated, I'll probably make a post or video later. But, IMO it's cool.
