This whole thing is wild but, particularly this: the shooter himself was apparently confused at reports the ammo messages expressed "trans stuff" and emphasized the lack of "photos or exact quotes" to cast doubt on it to his friends.

On the other hand the NYT is nearly fully in line with the Trump administration in most ways that matter while the Guardian is still reporting from reality land. Given the choice I am with the Guardian.
