Why am I doing this?
Because I care about justice, fairness, and truth, but social anxiety makes direct organizing hard for me.
So this is my way of contributing β and I hope it helps others do the same.

Trust is everything.
-Always link your sources.
-Admit when youβre wrong.
-Be clear when making bold claims.
Letβs be the side that tells the truth β fully and without spin.
Leftist creators need to work together.
Right-wing voices amplify each other. We need to do the same.
β‘οΈ Boost each otherβs posts.
β‘οΈ Run joint campaigns (e.g., "Grocery Monopoly Week").
β‘οΈ Build real community.
Solidarity makes us stronger.
Give people something to DO.
Donβt stop at "things are bad" β show how to fight back.
-Join ACORNCanada (tenants' unions)
-Support union drives (Amazon, PSAC, Unifor)
-Join protests, mutual aid
π₯ Letβs move people from anger to action.
Show itβs a system problem β and name who profits.
Not "life is hard."
Itβs:
π’ "CAPREIT jacking up rents."
π "Per Bank, CEO of Loblaw, making millions while groceries skyrocket."
ποΈ "Politicians letting them get away with it."
π We need to name names.
Make Canadian truth emotional and visual.
People respond to faces, stories, and real places.
π Instead of "Rents are rising," show a graph of rent increases in Toronto + a story of someone living through it.
Plain language. Real people. Real life.
Source everything β make the truth traceable.
Canadians trust facts.
Letβs give them solid, Canadian sources:
-StatsCan
-CMHC
-Toronto Star investigations
-Yellowhead Institute (Indigenous issues)
Be the voice people trust more than corporate spin.
Hereβs what I came up with:
Facts alone wonβt move people β but stories will.
Start with a real story, then show the stats that prove itβs a system-wide problem.
Example:
"Meet Sam in Halifax, paying $1,600 for a basement apartment."
Then:
"1 in 4 renters pay 50%+ of income on rent (StatsCan)."
I see right-wing and corporate media dominating the narrative.
Meanwhile, so many good people on the left struggle to get heard, even when theyβre right.
I wanted to create something practical and grounded in truth to help leftist voices be louder, clearer, and more effective.
Hey everyone.
Iβve been wanting to get involved in political discourse for a long time β but honestly, social anxiety makes it really hard to speak up.
So I decided to put my energy into something I can do: writing a playbook to help leftist creators and activists communicate better in Canada.
