With all the talk of product shortages , I think it should be said that products will first find their way to densely populated areas first and everywhere else, last

This certainly will hurt all those red counties. How they react to their shelves being everything will define the midterms

What $7.25 buys you in 2025 Americans who work 40 hours a week, 52 weeks a year, at the federal minimum wage no longer make enough money to keep themselves out of poverty.

The $7.25 federal minimum wage is a poverty wage in every state.

Meanwhile S&P 500 CEOs made $40k/hr in 2024.

There’s a minimum wage because employers would pay less if they could, but no maximum wage because the rich write our laws to benefit the rich.

It’s almost as though everyone in Trump’s orbit, inside and outside government, gets together on a (non-secure) Zoom call to decide β€œWhat’s the most corrupt and illegal thing we can do today?

And on some days they can’t reach consensus so they just go ahead and do them all.

OK. I've got into arguments on this on the other site. If the monetary value of something (a cup of coffee, the Dow Jones index, etc.) goes down by 10% on one day and then goes up 10% on the next day, the value is still less at the end of the second day than it was at the beginning of the first day

If this is represents our Democratic Leadership, it’s no wonder we don’t impassion our base to show up & vote in every election or attract any new voters

We are in a culture & information war

Schumer couldn’t motivate a person dying of thirst to water

If we want to win we need new leadership.
