I was listening to a Bulwark podcasts' interview with Adam Kinzinger and they played a clip from (I believe) Fox Channel saying only to buy for family that lives close to you. Don't send packages across the country and grandma doesn't need a new pair of slippers. Unreal!!

I usually hear the cardinals before I see them, but this one was sitting in the tree watching while I was asking my dog if she was ready to come inside.

I was listening to @hcrichardson.bsky.social this morning while getting ready for my kiddos to come. I happened to look out my window to this view. For some reason my mind wants to say maybe it's "the dawning of a new day".

When the trying to keep up with what's happening gets heavy I remember I work with young children and can make magic for them.

Makes me wonder when this pressure cooker is going to explode and what that will look like.

I can't remember who said we should mention when a Republican does something positive, but I'll take the advice. I came across a video on YouTube fromCBC news, with my Governor and the Atlantic premier. The video shows why Phil Scott keeps getting elected in a blue state.

Several months ago I was talking with a friend and she brought up concerns of a civil war. I told her I feel we will see a civil war within the republican party.

Apparently this male cardinal had thought I needed some balance after reading some substacks. I was making snack for my kiddos when he summoned me to the window.

Definitely something in the air. Saturday morning I tried, multiple times, to listen to you and Joanne while cleaning. I couldn't get volume just closed caption. Before I went grocery shopping I thought I would try one more time. Volume and no closed caption.

Too many people are more than happy to have someone else find them.

I have worked in a childcare program for 30 years. While I was doing Tae Kwon Do, I would tell people the only thing that would make me lose my self control was someone that hurt a child.

As a preschool teacher I let the children pick books from the library. I do my curriculum around the books they choose. Interesting that 11/13 is world kindness day and this is the book choosen for this week. We made magnets for world kindness day.

For some reason yesterday's perpetual calendar quote brought you to my mind.

I've been working in a childcare setting for 30 years. Recently one of my 10 year olds gave me this. It's what I think about when make decisions. I was also once told by a kiddo that I never lie. That's a lot to live up to.

One of the first things I do in the morning is read my perpetual calendar.

After checking my perpetual calendar this morning I couldn't help but wonder what is ahead.

My preschoolers know that if you want to put your drawing on the fridge you add a magnet to the back.

I feel frustrated with the Senate Democrats, but I am angry at those who are keep food from our most vulnerable populations.

When you tell people you relieve stress in a physical way. Mother Nature says I understand the assignment. Shoveling at 5 am here in VT.

I work in a childcare program. One of my 10 year old kiddos gave me this. I put it up on my wall to remind myself [all ways] kiddos are watching.

It never fails. When my childcare kiddos go down for a nap and I start catching up on what is happening "out there" I have a visitor outside my window.

That was my thought when I saw the photo.

I got a call from my 27 year old son on the afternoon of November 6th. He was scheduled to fly from Denver to Seattle on the 7th because his girlfriend is moving from Seattle to Colorado. He was fortunate enough to get a flight on the 6th because, he said, all flights are canceled after the 6th.

My mom works in a long-term care facility. I worked in that facility for 10 years; my first thought was WTH, does he even comprehend what is happening?

Can't help but wonder why so many men fear a strong, intelligent woman.

I have worked in a child care program for 30 years. Thinking about what those children witnessed just hurts my heart. Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) have such an effect on children's development.
