I have posted key topics for Edexcel Paper 2 but not been able to do AQA as I haven't seen the papers. I can do this tomorrow still if anyone has a copy but otherwise not a lot I can do I am afraid.

By "early" I mean promptly after the exam has been sat, not before it...obviously!!

I am happy to analyse the GCSE papers in the coming week and suggest key topics for paper 2/3. This will depend entirely on if I can get eyes on a paper so no promises. Given the very short period between each paper, it might not happen. If you know you will have access to a script early, DM me.

My daughter is doing her Sparx and she just spotted the Chrome now offers in-built AI homework cheating (see button at the top right - takes you straight to AI tools that answer the question for you). FFS.

Barely a day into the new academic year and the "predicted paper" marketing is already in full swing. Advise your students accordingly!

Did you know I've been working on A-level content? I've managed to cover all of year 1 statistics now including in depth videos (a little over 6 hours worth), exam questions and solutions on each topic (117 full exam questions in total). All free, of course.

Yes I think whilst some are clued up, plenty of teachers have never even open TikTok (understandably!)

We can do more and it would start with people accepting the issue. Unbelievable amount of so called "leaders" on twitter refusing to accept there is a problem. When people are saying it is the student's fault for being confused or misled then they are part of the problem. Actual teachers too.

I don't disagree either but I don't believe most teachers are really aware of the extent of what is going on. Unfortunately for me, TikTok thinks I am in Y11 so I see it constantly and it is bleak!

Companies are profiting (quite literally hundreds of thousands) by lying to kids saying they know what will come up. They are so misleading and under immense pressure, the most vulnerable students fall victim. Happy to share several videos/ads/accounts with you privately to show you.

We have heads of department labelling students as “stupid” for falling for these but the reality from a child’s perspective is this appears on their feeds over and over again. I see the same content and it is aggressive and persuasive. Predicting itself isn’t the issue, it’s the way it is presented.

I don’t think that is suggested at all. There is more to the article than the headline. Despite some maths teachers wanting to bury their head in the sand on this and deny it’s a problem, it is a huge issue. Guidance and advice from teacher is key but that coming directly from JCQ will help too.
