RIP Diane Keaton
My favourite picture of her where everyone else is giving it their best Blue Steel & she looks like sheβs just wandered in off the street looking super cool.
She was allowed to wear her own clothes & her wonderful personality shines out.
What a unique talent & human being.
Very much looking forward to getting stuck into this new book from @marcmulholland.bsky.social bringing peasants to centre off Irish history

Averil Deverell came of age pre-independence, being βpresentedβ to George V in St Patrickβs Hall, Dublin Castle, in 1911.
The first woman to practice at the Bar in Ireland, she did so β¦ from St Patrickβs Hall, which served as the Law Library from 1923-31 #History #Heritage
Following the destruction of the Four Courts in June 1922, the State Apartments at Dublin Castle were fitted up as a temporary legal home.
What must Deverell have thought entering St Patrickβs Hall that 2nd time? From debutante to barrister in less than a decade.
