and tbh, there are places where like-minded self-reflective physicians will be to lend solidarity with ya. like a lot of my coworkers are similar, prob bc they come out of the 90s hiv care world where they had to be loudly anti-establishment to get anything done

honestly gives me some hope to hear you, a to-be physician, willing to identify and work against that bias so early in your training. there is like so much infrastructural power that works against that, and i think it's just lifelong work to take that apart and work more compassionately
