This will almost certainly not happen. I have outlines for sixteen zines, with another fourteen ideas in the idea bank.

Making informative zines is a lot more complicated and time intensive than I anticipated. Hopefully, I can finish all my drafts by next weekend.

I got my Urban Planning essay back. I got a 100%, a few lovely comments, and a polite request to talk more in class because the teacher likes my ideas.

Okay! My take home exam is drafted. I just need to wake up tomorrow and finish it and double check my citations. It's due at midnight but I am to be done by noon.

A friend suggested I start writing blogs or zines or something because I've got good ideas but I don't have an outlet for any of them, so now I am looking at zine archives.

I feel like I spend a lot of time on Blue Sky complaining about my degree. I swear, it's not that bad. It's actually a lot of fun and super interesting.

And it sucks because there are really basic things we can do that would solve real problems but trying to spread those ideas would inspire a stalker to show up at my house to poison the neighborhood pets before it lead to anything positive.

Its frustrating because the opposition are organized and well funded but if I talk about affordable housing I get a lecture from someone who has a general leftist aesthetic but doesn't have a solution except telling people to move someplace else, which is a conservative outlook.

I went for a walk with a classmate to lament the state of the world. What frustrates us isn't so much the problems, but how many people are not interested in solving them. We are in a room full of people who should care about big issues and some can barely articulate what is actually wrong.

I want to respond to this in a way that’s both supportive and kind, but I’m not sure how to word it.

Tangerine iBook from the early 2000’s. It’s bright orange and has a built in handle. It was computing perfection, the likes of which we shall never see again.

Early 2000’s tech aesthetics were so wonderful. I had a tangerine iBook and I miss it so much.

Alright, I have my notes sorted. I did mess up some of the numbering, but I can deal with as I move forward. The important thing is to keep working.

I think I finally figured out the numbering system I want to use for my research, but I really don’t want to remember the cards I already numbered.

I ran into the scary professor from last semester. She told me her office hours are on Tuesday and I should feel free to reach out to her if I need anything.

I had a fever last night, so I slept poorly and woke up very early this morning. I can't believe it's only early afternoon. I'm exhausted.

And honestly, I don't understand the appeal. Even if we limit ourselves to 19th century thinkers, there are alternatives. I think a georgist analysis is a better fit for a lot of contemporary issues, but that's hard to explain in short video format.

She learned about Marxism from social media and has a lot of feelings. She doesn’t know enough about economics or philosophy to say anything intelligible, but really wants the liberals she knows to educate themselves.

A former friend with bad political takes has come full circle and it’s weirdly satisfying. She’s awful, but at she’s open about it now which is oddly comforting.

Today I watched an action movie from the 2020’s and a comedy/drama the 1980’s was shocked at how riveting the older film was.

I have a list of others to apply for though, so hopefully I will hear good news before the end of the month.

I realize I never wrote back. I did not get the internship. Instead, I got a personal letter telling me to please reapply next semester.

I miss old social media. I recently logged back into an old account and saw all the people I used to interact. Most of them deactivated their accounts at some point in the recent past.

8am people are also different.

The interview went well. Now I just wait a week to hear if I got it.
