Great to see so much engagement with this post! Taking a boat to Inner Farne this summer was a long-awaited treat as it wasn't possible to visit the island when I was growing up in the area. Luckily we had excellent weather on the day, following two days when boat crossings had been cancelled.

Malczewski painting becomes Polandโs most expensive artwork after โฌ5.2m sale
A painting by renowned Polish artist Jacek Malczewski has sold for 22.2 million zloty (โฌ5.2 million) โ a new record for an artwork sold in Poland.
A previous sale - also for a record price - collapsed amid doubts over the legality of the work's ownership, which have now been dismissed.
