As for the pilot or lesson, that's still a little ways ahead. The notion of "friction" also resists a concept of quick "takeaways" or consumables. Nevertheless, for those who choose to assist in the book writing, there are places where we can experiment together!

My guess is that the first friction to approach with learners is any form of resistance to the act of reading as educators have come to understand it. And the first consideration for these educators: proceed with the idea that the student is sincere and the concern valid. Then we talk!
