Oh gosh, I hope you get time to go back to it because Quifrey does some Highly Questionable Stuff (which you may have gotten to, if you got to his backstory) and then the most recent volumes have finally had some real action and danger.

Sometimes I think about going back and re-reading or re-watching Card Captor Sakura and then I'm like "actually, maybe I won't do that". It's not even as though the main story has anything off-putting but the side bit with the teacher/student romance... [very long sigh]

One of my turning points re: defund the police is that most cops are just bad at their jobs, when they're not actively committing crimes themselves. The culture/training that makes them dangerous also results in terrible judgement & lack of clear procedures. Literally useless across the board.

Genuinely all of these have helped me so much every time I come across them. It's so important to try to reframe problems to see your way to a solution (or realize there's no problem at all).

I like that people enjoy this one. Feels nice sometimes to drop the pretense and let out my genuine wish that everyone achieve some sort of security and ability to appreciate and find joy in their idiosyncracies.

On this day in 2023 I took one of my favourite ever photos of #Iceland. This is Hekla, with so many layers of mountains and hills in between, taken up in the Highlands on a beautiful day.
