Measles is a horrible combination of a very high R0 rate (R naught) and an ability to cause immune amnesia which can last for years - in addition to all the other harm the disease causes.

Alfred has been a great salesman for the benefits of a battery radio and ABC FM. I only got a couple of short power cuts but it made me very cautious about conserving phone battery. The radio allowed me to hear what was going on, drown out the wind and feel connected to others.
