Kicking off this season with some woodburnings inspired by #OTGW concept sketches. I loved how this Pottsfield shepherd-like pumpkin man turned out. By far one of my favorite shots from the show.

Part 2 of work for my #pbrisingstars mentorship! I had so much fun with playing with compositions and I loved creating this spread. Especially creating a sort of flow through the composition pushing the eye from left to right as you follow the herd.

It’s on Disney+ and extremely well made. Definitely became an instant comfort watch for me.

I believe in the mission of cultivating kindness, creativity, and wonder in the next generation, even if I may not see the ways my work impacts others. I’m trying to keep my head up, and I’m continuing to work hard while trying to believe in myself.

Yet I know, especially in these very dark times, I have to keep working on my craft. I can’t give up because denying myself the act of creation just because it can’t be my profession is one less artist in the world. And we NEED artists right now. I believe in the mission of #kidslit .
