(This is all the energy I can muster at this time. The group dynamics of my new class are kicking my behind. As individuals, they are lovely. As a cohort, they are yampy. I'm already in bed at 8.43pm - I still love and appreciate you all πŸ’œ)

There are a lot of people forgetting - or perhaps haven't done enough/any research to know - that Tannies are also still not completely free of their mandatory service.

They are now reservists rather than on active duty, but they still have obligations to the military (for the next 6-8 years).

As a general rule, fiction should have a professional narrator; non-fiction should be read by the author.

For me, at least.

Wasn't it revealed recently that active WV users are mostly extremely young? Even below the age allowed by the T&Cs?

If that's actually the case, it'll be really hard to advise them. I think they'll see it as nagging and an attempt to silence them, rather making it a happier place for everyone.

I have no tattoos myself. Truthfully, even gel manicures are a bit too much of a commitment. While I admire his courage, it's completely alien to me.

Oh, he'll absolutely have to indulge us with a proper tour of the updates to know for sure. The swirlies do look extremely dense in that photo, though.

And I'm a little sad; I always that top part was really pretty.

I'm in the UK. I rarely see lives in real time, and even when I do, I'll have them on in the background while I'm doing other things.

As much as I wish that I could help report, or post meaningful comments, I don't have that capacity.

I don't know how we create change in that side of our community though.

People who post things like that can already see that it achieves nothing and post it regardless.

Weverse absolutely needs to work against it more. Banning emojis except πŸ’œ would be a start, along with certain words/phrases.

As you can probably tell from the photo, I was so close to the stage that I was immersed in the sound. So close that I could grab the set list from Rory's pedal bank with barely any effort.

I also got myself (what i hope is) a comically oversized t-shirt, with a freebies sticker.

For the first of my #MonthlyMusicMoments, I made a three hour round trip to see And So I Watch You From Afar play at Gloucester Guildhall.

A post-rock/math-rock four piece from Northern Ireland, I have seen them twice before. Last night was their best showing though, because the crowd was *on it*

He may not have it anymore.

If I'm thinking of the right thing, he had black and white dancheong at the top of his arm, but in the most recent photos, it looked like he's had it altered/covered up by the piece that extends towards his neck.

Something I forgot to mention yesterday:

The cafe at the Tate is a meltdown inducing nightmare realm designed by a pox-addled ignoramus with the social and emotional intelligence of a saucepan.

If you have sound sensitivity, prepare accordingly, send your normie in, or avoid altogether.

After speaking yesterday, I have made a plan.

My yoga studio has five levels and I'm currently a level 2. Once I get to level 3 (probably by end of October), I'll add in pilates.

I tried it before, thinking it would be similar to yoga. It is far more difficult. Maybe weights in the New Year.

It's such a faff in winter though! If I lived elsewhere in Europe, in the southern countries I would probably swim 10 months out of the year.

Here in the UK, we struggle for a non-privately owned pool at all.

I saw it the first time the day after seeing Jinnie Bean. Stupidly, I saw everything else in the building before heading to his space and hadn't left myself enough time to really take it in.

Actually contemplating a third visit. That wouldn't be excessive, no?

I went #Namjooning at Tate Modern yesterday, seeing Do Ho Suh's 'Walk the House' exhibit for the second time.

It was even more astonishing than I had remembered.

He's clearly quite mad, but in the loveliest, most positive way.

It's running until October 26th. I recommend in the strongest terms.

I would never put anyone under pressure; whatever works best for you. I only mentioned it as it doesn't seem to be a well-known thing outside of yoga or rehab circles, yet it is a gentle (re)intro.

Now that I'm over 40, ppl keep talking about weight training. The thought of the gym? 🀒
