On Monday, Trump said all Afghans would be deported back. Since he worked for CIA, it would probably be a death sentence for him and possibly the whole family.
This is an act of desperation, not terrorism.

1) Responding with violence is wrong.
2) If you tell someone they will be deported to a country that will kill them on arrival, you may get a violent response. Not terrorism, but desperation

There are lots of small grocery stores. We just get so used to going to a big box store. I don’t know where you live, but Google shops and stores around you. Visit farmer markets. I also use Amazon not to shop but to find suppliers. I look up a product and then contact the shop directly

Yes! I’ve been boycotting Walmart for 15+ years. Their hiring/firing practices and split shift policy for part time workers have always been predatorial. The American public helped create these billionaires by prioritizing convenience and cheap goods over fair labor laws and small business.

Some Americans are lobbying to buy Canadian products in support of Canada.

Sadly, this helps Trump. For every imported item you buy, he gets his tariff tax and can brag on $$ earned.

Buy from small businesses, visit farmer markets, cut back on big box/amazon spending. Use cash.

I’m in Portugal and I am not buying anything American and I hope the rest of the world follows.
But if you live in the US, you need to do the opposite. Only buy American and only from small businesses and farmers so the federal government doesn’t benefit from the tariffs. 😢

But you are also paying a 25% tax on that product that goes directly to the federal government. It gives him something to point at, “See all the money we are raising through tariffs!”

There is always the name of who makes the product or a “visit the XYZ store” link. It may take a few extra steps but it is worth it. Often the direct website offer better deals and free shipping.

I’m participating from Portugal. After watching that sh**show press conference it was hard not to buy ice cream and Oreos.

I use Amazon all the time. I look up the product I want, find out the company who sells it, and order it directly from them. 🤣🤣🤣
