Similar issues apply for clothing. I thought I wouldn’t really care too much about aging, but it’s hard in a way I never anticipated.

I prefer cushion foundations but have switched to powder so that I can get away with having the same one for longer.

On the other, I’ve also aged enough for my old makeup to not look right any more, even by probably-outdated standards.

It's ironic that this article perpetuates fear about chemical sunscreens being unsafe. Plus the misconception that dermatologists are experts on product safety (that's toxicologists and safety assessors).
Also the US blanket recommendation on sunscreen use that's not actually based on evidence...
Evidence suggests early humans used primitive sunscreen and wore tailored clothing—possibly contributing to their survival as Neanderthals went extinct.
