With the book I'm querying, I did my best to write what feels like a soft-rational system. As the reader reaches later books, they watch as my characters learn the truth about the world they live in. Basically, it's a hard-rational system that is delivered in small doses.

Side note: part of my way out of Christianity, I realized that every kiss isn't sexual. I kissed my wife goodbye tons of times, and it wasn't for or followed by sex. We love each other, so we kiss a lot. LGBTQA+ people are just people. Their every kiss isn't some deprived, loin-driven, sexual event.

You used the metric of "inherently wrong" so stick with it. Two dudes kissing is not inherently wrong. If so, explain how/why without using a silly meme. I'm open to being convinced.
