Google is killing software support for early Nest Thermostats No more controlling these “smart” thermostats from a phone.

The Internet of Things ended up being the internet of unsupported products.

Google is ending support for 1st & 2nd generation Nests and completely pulling out of Europe.

Imagine having to replace the thermostats in your home because of a reorg at some big tech meant it was no longer a priority.

It's horrible that anyone is deported w/o due process but if you think this is the first time a US-born minor child has been sent to their deported parent's country of origin you have not been following American immigration policy. Mexico has an est. 80-100K US kids who were effectively deported.

As of Friday, there have been 46 cases in which federal judges have blocked Trump policies.

The rulings in those cases have come from 39 different judges appointed by 5 different presidents (of both parties) to 11 different district courts across 7 different circuits.

Across the board there's a disconnect between actual gov't spending and perceptions of gov't spending.

I went to the Science Museum yesterday and as well as having a ball with my nearly four year old in their amazing child spaces (god love free London museums) I was utterly charmed by this caption.

I'm getting to the point where I enjoy plant based foods more than rather than just as much as meat and cheese things- and my kid has been declining dessert lately. So, clearly something is wrong.
