Yes, thank you. That’s on my list. Carlin’s biography on Bruce was great.

08.08.2025 22:08 — 👍 1 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0…I’ve read a lot of them. I thought I knew a lot about Bruce, but I was learning something new on virtually every page. And it’s not just the very interesting details Zanes provides, but his deep insights into Bruce and this era of his life. Absolutely a 10/10.
08.08.2025 21:51 — 👍 3 🔁 0 💬 1 📌 0It’s been a long time, but I had to pop on to sing the praises of @warrenzanes.bsky.social phenomenal book Deliver Me From Nowhere. I finally got around to reading it, and was blown away. I knew it would be good, but I didn’t know it’d be *this* good. Best book on Bruce I’ve ever read and…

27.02.2025 18:00 — 👍 1 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0Bruce Springsteen’s Nebraska is proof that an album recorded on a $50 cassette recorder can change music history. Here are 5 things you probably didn’t know about this stark masterpiece: zurl.co/Ee86R
24.02.2025 17:15 — 👍 14 🔁 2 💬 2 📌 1Yes, something like that would definitely be better. Or even just Summer of Springsteen. I still wouldn’t like the song probably, but it at least it would irritate me less. Just when I thought I was done thinking about this song, you pull me back in!
24.02.2025 17:11 — 👍 1 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0Where were you on Friday night February 22, 1985? I may have been watching this! Anybody wanna go back?
22.02.2025 22:14 — 👍 3 🔁 0 💬 1 📌 0Finally, someone who gets me!
22.02.2025 19:51 — 👍 1 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0It’s kind of like if Bruce titled Thunder Road “Orbison” instead. Yeah he name checks Roy Orbison in the verse, but it’s not *about* Roy Orbison so that would be misleading. I am way overthinking this, aren’t I?
22.02.2025 19:44 — 👍 0 🔁 0 💬 1 📌 0I think I would like it better if it kept all the Bruce song references in the verses, but came up with a different chorus and title than “Springsteen.” Every time I hear him sing “Springsteen” my mind is saying “yeah, what about him???” It doesn’t connect to what the rest of the song is about.
22.02.2025 19:39 — 👍 1 🔁 0 💬 1 📌 0Me too. The Dancing in the Dark video was the first time I saw/heard Bruce, so that always has a special place. I do recall hearing Hungry Heart on the radio as a kid but I had no idea it was Bruce until Live 75-85 came out and I was like “Oh that’s a Bruce song?”
22.02.2025 19:17 — 👍 0 🔁 0 💬 1 📌 0I’m still on board with Born in the USA as one of his greatest songs. I’d keep it in the top 10 myself.
22.02.2025 19:14 — 👍 1 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0The only nice thing I can say about it is maybe it brought some new fans to Bruce who had never heard of him? Other than that, I have no use for it
22.02.2025 19:13 — 👍 1 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0Yeah, it’s very gimmicky. He’s trying so hard to sound deep when he sings “Springsteen” but there’s just no depth there. This song just rubs me the wrong way. It’s almost irritating.
22.02.2025 19:11 — 👍 0 🔁 0 💬 1 📌 0Interesting! Never see this one mentioned, but it’s up there for me too. Would love to hear the “electric Nebraska” version.
22.02.2025 18:44 — 👍 0 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0Sandy would be close to top 10 for me too.
22.02.2025 18:42 — 👍 0 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0Agreed!
22.02.2025 17:06 — 👍 1 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0Probably an unpopular opinion, but I’d love to hear others thoughts. I am not a fan of the song “Springsteen” by Eric Church. I don’t see the song as being *about* Bruce at all. It just lists some of his songs and then he sings “Springsteen.” Ok. I tried to like it, but it does nothing for me.
22.02.2025 17:06 — 👍 3 🔁 0 💬 2 📌 0This article is all over the place in terms of what it’s supposed to be (Bruce’s best? Most popular? Greatest hits? All different things!). Still, this is always a fun exercise. I would replace Dancing, Glory Days and I’m on Fire with Backstreets, Darkness and Racing in the Street. Any others?

As a Bruce fan and someone who knows a lot of Bruce fans, I can confidently say that we already own every single piece of music that Bruce puts out. Usually in multiple formats. So perhaps we have less need to use Spotify? I know I never have.
